This movement was forgotten in the 60s and 70s and, decades later, gained space in important permanent galleries such as the Museum of Fine Arts Houston and MoMA.

The research is based on the project “Fusões e Inserções” (Fusiones and Insertions) developed by the Institute of Research, Technology and Innovation (IPTI) in 2014, in which designers Fernando and Humberto Campana interacted with the embroiderers of Entremontes (AL), Brazil, and their preserved “redendê” embroidery.
